The Silk Road, which once took five years to walk, is now nothing more than a grand dream, but its glory remained in Japan and developed independently. This is the Japanese Archipelago Museum. Focusing on the miraculous genius Kukai, a religious leader and Japan’s greatest calligrapher, and the Silk Road culture he brought with him, we will be showcasing his romance and images in artworks.
