CACA「自由書展」は、古典の臨書から現代アートまでの個性を競う作品100点余りを展覧します。
書の本質を現代に覚醒させるために新しい感性で挑戦し、現代に生きる私たちは形骸化した書道を変えます。書の新しい景色をご高覧ください。
In the beauty of Japanese calligraphy, there exists a world of empty space, pauses, elegance, iki-refinement, and extravagance, as well as a sense of wabi-sabi that resonates with the tea ceremony and Zen. Tradition represents the innovation of its time, and these accumulated works are called classics and have been regarded as a role model. CACA’s “Free Calligraphy Exhibition” displays over 100 artworks that compete in expressing individuality, ranging from classical calligraphy to contemporary art. Through a fresh perspective, we challenge the ossified state of calligraphy and awaken its essence in the modern era. We invite you to experience the new landscape of calligraphy.
